2007 In summary
2007 will be a very busy year for all joining in at One KX.
Our arts, health, youth and community programmes will become fully operational in 2007. Here’s a taster of the plans:
- Official opening and community open day Saturday 23 June
- Develop learning and training opportunities in health and fitness, catering, drama, leadership, dance, music and digital media
- Open the Community Café
- Develop and implement arts programmes with YTouring
- Work with YMCAfit to provide industry-recognised training for the health and fitness industry
- Work with local youth providers and community organisations to promote services for the local community and young people.
- Provide employment opportunities through training, as well as establishing a work bank: a database of local people looking for jobs who can apply to work at One KX, or Central YMCA and our associated operations.
