ONE KX OFFICAL OPENING DAY
AND COMMUNITY VIP COMPETITION
SATURDAY 23rd JUNE

This is your invitation to One KX’s official opening day on Saturday 23rd June: a day on which we’ll celebrate the past, have a look at the present and see what the future holds – all in an event packed day! There’ll be lots to do for all ages, from music and theatre performance to exhibitions and workouts, plus a chance to look around, and become a member of One KX for free.

Cut the Ribbon
A highlight of the day will be the official opening ceremony for One KX and we are asking for your help. Would you like to cut the One KX ribbon, or can you nominate someone who you think should be the day’s Community VIP? Read on to find out more…

Community VIP
We’d like you to help us celebrate the achievements of this Community by nominating local people who achieve helpful, caring, interesting, successful or unusual things. If you know someone who deserves to be recognised, please tell us – winners will be invited to be the centre of attention and to ‘cut the ribbon’ during the actual opening ceremony. All suitable nominations will also form part of an exhibition for the day and there will be some great prizes for the winners!

Nominate anyone local, of any age, achieving in any way
It could be you, or someone you know who’s achieved something special or unusual, big or small. Perhaps you or they:
- give time to help others by volunteering,
- have been through a difficult time
- care for others or our environment
- have achieved something special or unusual in sport, drama, music, art or something practical

All you have do is fill in the form and tell us the story!

THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS THE 14th MAY
