Y Touring Arrivals Performance
In the ‘create-a-play’ week at One KX the children worked hard creating a piece of performance around the theme of arrivals.
The theme was inspired by the ‘Arrivals’ festival which celebrates the arrival of the Eurostar to King’s Cross St. Pancras station.
They drew their inspiration for the photographs and the performance from a visit to Camden Local Studies Library, where they learnt about the history of King’s Cross station and the surrounding area in which they live.
In the ‘create-a-play’ week the group worked on circus skills and also learnt how to write and perform their own songs all about King’s Cross and its history. They created television adverts that told people all about the new service that is now available at St. Pancras, the Eurostar!
